What to do this week: October 8-14

handsome, hunkI encourage everyone to check out this year’s HUB Week is at Government Center from the 8th – 14th; an amazing series of events and programs that run all week. Another festival worthy of a shout out takes place this weekend on Saturday in Copley Square – Boston’s 8th Annual Book Festival which runs all day and is also open and free to the public.

If you’re looking for some more cultcha and happen to have Columbus Day off, head over to the free Fall Open House at the MFA and or to the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston – both museums are open Monday, Oct 8th from 10AM – 5PM and free to the public all day.

For those of you who like to scare yourselves, be sure to check out Halloween, which will show at the Kendall on Wednesday evening or head over to the Coolidge to enjoy their After Midnite series, which takes place on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 11:59PM with The Exorcist (Director’s Cut) and SCREAM showing respectively.
