This week’s brain teaser: Which word is least like the others? Third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth – explain your answer.

    Third. It is the only one with a “D” in it and doesn’t end in “TH”.

  13. Fourth is the only word in the list that does not share vowels with any other. Seventh is the only word with two syllables. Eighth is the only word with four consonants in a row. Third does not use ‘th’ to end a root number sound. That pattern would be ‘threeth’.

    So I really don’t know the answer.
