you’re a barber or a woman overzealous about stubble on her legs or, perhaps, with facial hair she doesn’t want seen.

I can think of 3 possibilities:
1. I shave around my beard to define it,
2. I shave, just not my face, and
3. I’m gay, but a female friend is my date for all family or business functions.
