I love this photo of two shirtless gay men in San Francisco. The fact that they look ripped isn’t lost on me either. Based on the cars in the background, I’d guess this dates back to the 1960s or 70s. WDYT?

I think it’s 1971. The cropped letter to the left of “DAY” in the sign about the Police Games looks more like an R than an N, suggesting Saturday August 21. Saturday August 21, 1971 is the only Saturday that works for these vintage vehicles.

My guess is 1977. The banner behind them specifies a Sunday August 21 police game, and the only year the 21st fell on a Sunday between 1966 and 1983 was in 1977; the other clue is the Datsun coupe in the background and the van on their left are early 70s models. Hot guys,
