I wish this photograph was larger, because I love this ‘tough guy’ look and how the three are identically posed with legs crossed at the ankles, arms crossed, similar shirts open at the chest, and cigarettes hanging out of their mouths while they look straight into the camera. Anyone able to place or date this photo?
I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. For me it is impossible to locate the place, but I would dare to say that the date is around the years of World War I because they are wearing the same clothes and bandages that the soldiers of that time used on their legs. By the way, the man on the left, besides looking very attractive, must have had some very interesting and powerful legs that I would have liked to explore… And yes, I fell in love with HIM without being able to help it! ❤️
