For those of you who do not live in Boston, you may not realize that March 17th (a.k.a. St. Patrick’s Day) was made into a holiday here although technically it is referred to as Evacuation Day – a holiday to commemorate the evacuation of British forces from the city during the Revolutionary War. So for many in Boston this is a 3-day holiday weekend (sadly not for me).
