You can also visit the main venues that book talent in Ptown at Art House, Crown & Anchor, Pilgrim House, and Post Office Cafe & Cabaret.
There are several options for good live music. Lea Delaria’s space, The Club is one of my favorites. If you prefer a piano and witty cabaret singer, check out Tin Pan Alley and the Dive Bar at The Crown & Anchor.
Don’t they look content? When do you think this photo in the park was taken? I want to say the 1950s but am unsure.
No clue when or where these two dapper men were posing, but I love the photo and am curious if others may be able to date the photograph. I found the picture on the homoaffectualism Tumblr page.

Thought I’d mix things up today and share some “kilt art”. The artwork shown above is by David Gilson. You can see more of his content on his website, shop.davidgilson.com or follow him on his Facebook page The Art of David Gilson.

Much thanks to longtime reader, Angel, from Asturias Spain for sharing this great photo and suggesting it for a forthcoming vintage gay post. I love the picture of these two men posing on the beach in the early 1930s.
It’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket. Miss Rhode Island and I hope you are enjoying the perfect date.

Wicked Queer is Boston’s LGBTQ+ Film Festival. The annual celebration will begin at the end of this month but later this week they will be hosting a kick off party that is free to attend.
If you’re an independent movie / queer film enthusiast you should really check out this preview party. In years past, Sergio and I have attended and it’s always a friendly crowd. There is typically information about the festival and some of the films being featured.
Wicked Queer Preview Party
Thursday, March 23, 2023 | 6:00 – 9:00 PM
