This image is one of many available on the blog, Homo History. Any thoughts on when this cute photo was taken?
I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Merry Christmas
Mark Kanemura was on So You Think You Can Dance a few years back. He regularly posts short, entertaining videos like this one from last year. As you can see, Mark has enough Christmas spirit for all of us.
So for those of you who are celebrating Christmas, I hope you have a wonderful holiday and for the rest of you, enjoy this ridiculous video. I’m sure it will bring a smile to your face.
Hey Santa, all I want for Christmas is…
Men in kilts
Scruffy Sunday
I’ve featured Lex throughout the year in my Scruffy Sunday and Saturday Morning Coffee posts, but this photo seems appropriate considering Christmas is now just days away and I doubt any of you mind seeing more of Lex.

This image was sent to me by a reader as a suggested post for my weekly Vintage Gay series. I don’t have any information about these two dapper gentlemen. Anyone care to guess when this may have been taken?

Scruffy Sunday
Earlier this year I featured this handsome Minnesotan who now lives in NYC as both a Scruffy Sunday and Furry Friday. You could say that the camera loves Dustin James – a.k.a. DJ (and I suppose the feeling is mutual).

The History Project, Boston LGBT archive, shares a glimpse into the lives of five people who lived in a place and time that is at once familiar and alien. If you’re curious about learning more check out Boston Queer History blog post.

Men in kilts
I know I’m going to get grief for this because it looks more like a school girl’s skirt than a kilt but this was on one of the pintrest kilt boards and let’s face it – this guy is worth bending a few rules for.
