Yesterday I posted an image of “Four Skins” wine in my Things that make BosGuy go hmm… As usual, I Tweeted the post. Shortly thereafter I received the following Tweet from @Johnheartstype.
Earlier this week James Van Der Beek gave me a shout out on Twitter by retweeting me to his more than 137,000 followers. I thought it was pretty cool and didn’t mind the attention from such a handsome guy. Yeah, I suppose I’m a bit shallow like that.
I just started following Zach from Philly. His Twitter profile describes him as skeptical, sleepy and sarcastic. Here in Boston we’d also add wicked funny, although that may mess with his awesome alliteration.
If you are on Twitter and are looking for someone who can make you laugh with their 140-character wit, check out & follow @itsonlyzach.
In light of the fact that the Michigan Primary is today, and the news has been obsessing over the rise and fall in the polls of different Republican candidates, I thought I’d resurrect this tweet from last week about Rick Santorum. @reed27 regularly posts funny tweets so if you are on Twitter you may enjoy following this wise cracking Bostonian.
In honor of the South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary which happens today, I thought I’d share this humorous political Tweet from Andy Borowitz.
My favorite birdie is growing up. That’s right, Twitter announced yesterday that they would be implementing significant changes to the social media tool that will become visible in the coming weeks.
Twitter showcases the new layout and added features in a video on YouTube called “Yours To Discover” which I’ve posted below to show some of the enhancements. These enhancements are already available on iPhone and Android mobile apps. For neanderthals like your’s truly, I’ll have to wait before an app becomes available for the Blackberry. (Do people still make apps for the Blackberry?)
The redesign appears to keep a simple, clean look and revolves around the four icons above: home, connect, discover and profile. I’m curious to see how / if these changes to the platform impact sites like osfoora, hootsuite, tweetdeck and others. I’ve made no secret that I’m a twitter-holic and look forward to the enhancements which I hope will make the tool even faster and easier to use.
So true! Even though this is a well known quote from Einstein, this former Men of Twitter and a local guy is very witty and worth following. You can check him out @DavidGanhao.
This Tweet was actually sent during the Thanksgiving Holiday but I figured it has lasting power and could be shared at any time. If you are unfamiliar, check out GaySiri (and ask her to Tweet a bit more often – she’s really quite funny).
I assume this was the original intention for Grindr so guys when you are out at a gay club, please put away your apps and try talking to someone, and please try something a bit more interesting than ‘Sup?
Tweeted by @aurosan a self-proclaimed loud, opinionated homo (my favorite variety). In light of my previous post about the lecture I attended last night, I figured I’d share this “enlightening” (I know – feel free to groan at my corny choice of wording) tweet. Perhaps you’d like to follow this witty New Yorker.
Tweeted by Jason Schwartz, a senior editor at Boston Magazine. This was actually posted yesterday and referred to Zuckerberg’s visit to Harvard. #WickedFunny
