Michele Bachmann, is a US Congresswoman from Minnesota’s 6th district. For those unfamiliar with Rep. Bachmann, I would describe her as a whack-job. She speaks for the most conservative and xenophobic elements of the Republican Party.
Earlier this week Minnesota Public Radio reported Bachmann’s race for re-election was not going smoothly. She is still considered likely to win, but news the Democrat is closing the gap is good news.
