Queerty is reporting that the amazing It’s Time marriage equality video from Australia might come to America. This video (a personal favorite of all time) has been the focus of Social Teeth, a progressive marketing company. A statement on their website says,
Our intention with the ad is to powerfully convey how gay and lesbian relationships are normal relationships… It’s Time’ represents two people who, despite their gender, are able to spend their lives together without social or political barriers.
Social Teeth is aiming to raise $50,000 by October 10, but they’re less than $1,000 toward their goal. In addition to buying airtime, a portion of the money raised will go directly to Get Up!, the Down Under group that first released the video. Interested? Donate here.

Thanks for the clip from Australia on marriage equality. I have to admit I teared up at the end of it even though I expected it to end that way. We need to bring this video to the U.S. We are supposed to be the home of the FREE AND THE BRAVE. The gay men and women that have gone before us were the brave ones. They withstood alot of predjudice and violence in order for us to be able to be as openly gay today as possible. It’s not perfect but we have come a long way. Now it’s our turn to push forward to allow us to be FREE to marry whom ever we choose. This generation is making this happen; let’s continue the effort. I would love to see this video on TV.
