American excellence?

American excellenceI love the United States and think it is a great place to live, but sometimes American hubris gets in the way of what the rest of the world sees / knows. This picture makes the US look like it is still stuck in the 1970s.

    Well – this is an Acela train – made by the same company that makes the TGV in France – Alstom.

    And the power cars as they’re known are capable of much more than 150MPH. They can move over 200MPH but are limited by antiquated track and signalling.
