Each Friday morning I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain. If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague and see if you can figure out the answer together. Leave your answer in the comment section.
This week’s riddle comes from the NPR Sunday Puzzle. It was submitted to the show by Henri Picciotto, of Berkeley, CA and it’s a tough one so grab a friend if you need help.
This week’s riddle: Name a branch of scientific study and then drop the last letter. When you rearrange the remaining letters, you will be able to name two subjects that this branch of science studies. What branch of science is it and what are the two words you can make from rearranging the letters?
I’ll approve responses later in the day to give people a chance to respond without seeing any spoilers.
