In recent year’s I’ve used the French holiday, Bastille Day, as a great excuse to post this photograph of American born model, Alexander Masson.

This weekend I’ve highlighted approximately 40 different events including closing parties for Bear Week in Provincetown, drag shows and parties in Ogunquit as well as a free performance from the Boston Symphony Orchestra on the Boston Common this Friday, 3rd Annual Big Gay Summer Beach Party and a Pop Up BBQ Drag Brunch in Trophy Room.

ICA Boston every Thursday from 5PM – 9PM admission is free to the public

Sunday / Funday has added meaning this weekend. The threatening storms local meteorologists are predicting later today was enough to have the organizers move the weekly take over of M Street Beach to tomorrow, starting at 11AM.

Bear Week hits Ptown July 8 – 16th

There is a lot happening in Boston this weekend including SoWa’s First Fridays, Guerrilla Queer Bar, a free outdoor showing of Captain America at Rowes Wharf, Boston’s 1st Pizza Festival at Government Center and a Gen-X themed Tea Dance at Club Cafe.

In addition to all that is happening in Boston, Bear Week in Provincetown starts Saturday. Look for another posting on Friday from me about all the events happening for Bear Week 2017.
