I don’t know much about this Italian photographer but I like his handsome models and the quirky photos on his Instagram account which typically focus on the male torso. The photographer who’s name remains a mystery, fixates on male models with who are incredibly toned. Most of his photos include model torsos with their heads wrapped in colorful tulle fabric.

If you are a carb-hater or gluten-phobe this may not be the Instagram account for you, but if you live for pasta the way I do then this account is tantalizing. I had the pleasure of meeting Emily Trotochaud at a cooking class she was leading at Sur La Table in the Copley (ironically not to cook pasta) and I started following her account that evening.

I have no clue how I stumbled upon Dr. Bolzan’s Instagram account but he must be one of the most handsome doctors I’ve ever seen. Years ago I had a doctor at the Fenway Health Clinic who was so good looking I had to change primary care physicians, because I couldn’t concentrate on anything he said and let’s just say when he had to examine me it was excruciatingly embarrassing. Although my doctor didn’t look like Thalis, he was equally handsome and for that reason I can’t help but think of him when I look at this picture.

Tarcisio Generoso is a cinematographer and photographer who does a lot of fashion work in his home city of Sao Paulo Brazil. As you might expect he has some beautiful as well as wacky photos that will get your attention –  like this color block photo he posted on his Instagram account.

With buzz about a second Boston Chops restaurant opening in Downtown Crossing in the coming weeks it seemed like an appropriate time to share their Instagram account. The South End restaurant has one of my favorite bars in the neighborhood. You can usually find Sergio and me at the bar on Sunday mornings for a bite and once or twice for an after work drink and onion rings.

Food lovers will drool over the beautifully presented and photographed food and cocktails. While they have far more elaborate photographs, I’m a fan of their beer battered onion rings and couldn’t resist selecting this photo for this post. Check out their account but beware prolonged viewing will lead to hunger.

This week’s featured Instagram account is for those who want to add some eye candy to their IG feed. Although the account has a decent following, it may not be on your radar. As you might expect the photos lean towards the provocative.

I started following Maneesh Gujrati several months ago. Despite living in Boston I don’t believe we’ve met or know each other so I can’t remember how I initially found or started following his account but his photos are absolutely spectacular. His images focus on architecture, landscapes and cityscapes with brief descriptive notes like the one above, “rooftop puddles”.

I wish I knew more about this handsome guy and perhaps at some point our paths will cross but until then, I’ll enjoy his images on Instagram and I’d suggest you add him to your list of accounts to follow as well.

Much thanks to my friend Evan who earlier this year turned me on to the whimsical Instagram account, Barbie Pond on Avenue Q (in DC). I will have to make sure I check out this garden decorated with Barbie and Ken dolls in a variety of poses, dress and themes.

It makes me wish we had something equally colorful in our neighborhood. I think a  “My Little Pony Stable” would be wonderful. Unfortunately, I live in a mid-rise condo so I’ll have to hope that this post and the Barbie Pond Instagram account might inspire a neighbor to give it a go. #FingersCrossed

The Isabella Stewart Gardner was once Isabella’s home, but  is now a museum, which has a tiny indoor courtyard with grass and flowers in bloom that are surrounded by artwork that spans centuries and continents. I predict after yesterday’s snowfall, many may be seeking out this tiny garden to escape winter and enjoy the greenery.

As you might imagine the Instagram account has some beautiful photos of the courtyard, the amazing personal artwork collection of Mrs. Gardner and events that take place in this Venetian Palace in the middle of Boston.

This is the Instagram account of a gay blog I like to read periodically which has  penchant for posting photos like the one above so it isn’t exactly a deep account if you get my drift but it is definitely going to liven up your feed if you’re looking for some pg-13 posts to add to your feed.

My only knock on the account is that it lacks any kind of diversity (race, body, etc…) but considering a lot of their photos have worked their way into some of my weekly mancandy blog posts I probably shouldn’t throw too many stones.

One of my favorite Instagram accounts is run by Julien Levesque (whom I’ve not had the pleasure of meeting). His account posts beautiful photographs of  my neighborhood, Boston’s South End. I think what impresses me the most is that he has been posting photos for quite a while and my neighborhood is really quite small, but it is filled with some beautiful parks and 19th century row houses like shown above from one of his previous Instagram photos.
