This week I’m featuring the Instagram account of a handsome, out and proud male model who I believe lives in Miami at the moment, Kevin Carnell. When I was writing this post I Googled his name and read that Buzzfeed once described Kevin’s IG account as “a gift to you and the world” and I’m inclined to agree.

Most of Kevin’s photos are of him enjoying the beach but this past spring he ventured to Cuba and has some beautiful photos of his travels sprinkled in between photos of Kevin in a speedo. Check out his IG. I think you’ll like it.

This week I’m featuring an Instagram account I really enjoy following. Will Taylor is the man behind the IG account, brightbazaar, and with 200,000+ followers, I’m going to bet more than a few of you may already follow him.

What I really like about brighbazaar is the colors that seem to pop in every photo taken. There is obviously a lot of time spent thinking about the look he is trying to capture and the effect isn’t lost on me. Anyone with an eye and appreciation for design is going to really enjoy this account.

After spending the past few weeks featuring Instagram accounts of professional photographers and the male models that serve as their muse, I thought I’d go back to featuring accounts of friends. This week I’m featuring the Instagram account of a couple who now live here in Boston. Keegan (shown on the right above) is from Atlanta and Fabio (shown on the left above) is from Sardinia. They are a fun and easy-going couple who I always enjoy seeing.

The short video below of them visiting Sardinia this past summer nicely captures their playful side while giving you a glimpse of the beautiful waters of Sardinia – damn I have to get there some day.

This week on Instagram I’m featuring Detroit native and pharmacist / model / underwear designer, Todd Sanfield. I included a photograph of him from the account I featured last week and had so many people commenting to me that I thought I should follow up by featuring his account. Although most of his posts are of other models wearing his self-named underwear line (not that I suspect many of you will mind).

This week I’m featuring a photographer who I’ve mentioned on this blog in the past. Kevin McDermott is a NYC-based photographer who spends a lot of time photographing beautiful men like Todd Sanfield (shown above).

Kevin first came to my attention when he collaborated with Todd Sanfield to create the book Virgin Island: Todd Sanfield by Kevin McDermott. His Instagram account is chalk-filled with men just as gorgeous as Todd.

DJ Brian Maier lives in San Francisco but he has also made a name for himself as a model, notably appearing in Venfield 8 highly erotic short film, For Your Gods as well as a number of niche gay campaigns.

Although I’ve never met Brian, I’ve always been drawn to him and apparently a lot of you are too by the look of his Instagram account which has 60k+ followers. Hey Brian if you ever make it out to Boston or Provincetown, give me a shout!

This week I’m featuring a friend who I initially met here in Boston but now lives in Washington, D.C. You may also notice that I have his blog Frenchie and the Yankee to the right in my blogroll.

One month from today Sergio and I will be visiting Frenchie and the Yankee so I thought I’d use the opportunity to showcase the Instagram account which is filled with beautifully captured images mostly of his newly adopted home city of Washington, D.C.

ThisThis week I’m featuring a friend who lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil. João Victor is a talented photographer who is every bit as handsome in person as he appears in this photo. He has a wicked smile and a sense of humor to match. As you would imagine, his IG account his full of artistic shots as well as fun shots of him goofing around with his models / friends which makes his account seem more real and less contrived.

This week I’m featuring The Late Birds Hotel Instagram account. This is the all male gay guest house we stayed at when we visited Lisbon last September. The room this handsome guy is relaxing in happens to be the room we stayed in while there. I loved The Late Birds and wrote about it here.  Following this account always reminds me of our time in Lisbon. We need to go back.

This week on Instagram I’m featuring Brad Goreski who I first saw watching Fashion Police and who has made a name for himself styling famous people I’ve mostly never heard of but who seem to be show stoppers on the red carpet. While you would never know it by the way I dress, I do love fashion. Brad’s IG account includes  really beautiful photos that aspiring fashionistas would love.

This week on Instagram I’m featuring a very handsome Swedish architect who lives in Boston’s Back Bay. I don’t believe I’ve ever met Fredrik but his love of architecture and great eye for taking beautiful photos makes his account one of my favorites. His photos of the Back Bay make me think fondly about the six years I lived near the intersection of Mass. and Comm. Ave. The photograph below is a good example of the types of photos you can expect to see in his posts.
