Dan Savage wins Special Achievement award at the Webby’s. His acceptance speech is 5-words only. Savage is a master communicator, you won’t believe what he says.

By the way Dan, I 100% agree with you.

    This makes me sad. I know that Dan Savage has always been humorous and slightly ridiculous, but his response here just makes me sad. He is being honored for his great work in uniting a country behind the motto "It Gets Better" and he uses that time, a time when he could have given his best and most impactful speech to date, to take a jab at a comedian who made a gay joke. A comedian who has apologized and who is doing everything he can to make it better. I wanted him to stand up and say something inspiring and amazing and uplifting and humorous, and he took the low, crude blow. He did not live up to standards.
