    My how times have changed. My memories of “life” in NYC are quite different than this. A city that was once a bastion of indecency has cleaned up its act in only three decades before everything became sanitized and Disney-ized and safe for tourists and wealthy residents. The piers especially were regularly used for sunbathing, cruising and more. Now it’s shopping, dining and the gym. How boring!
