When Fritz closed earlier this year many locals bemoaned the loss of such a friendly, neighborhood bar. Recent years has seen a steady decline in operating gay bars here in Boston and only a handful remain. However, shortly after Fritz’s closing rumors started to fly that the staff was looking for a new space to reopen.
