Below are approximately 50 LGBTQ themed events, programs and parties taking place in Boston, Provincetown and Ogunquit. Make the most of this first week of August because summer will be over before you realize it.
Here are a few programs / events I’d like to give a special shout out to for you to consider. It is the final week to see Shakespeare on the Common; on Tuesday check out A League of Their Own playing at Club Cafe and SoWa First Fridays as well as a couple of beach options including Kiki Beach in Boston and 5th Annual Big GAY Beach Party in Westport both on Saturday.

Free Summer Fitness Tuesday Yoga at M St. Park at 6PM | Lululemon Run Club at Seaport Common at 6PM
MOVIE Herstory Theater: A League of Their Own will play at Club Cafe on Monday night – doors open at 7PM movie starts at 8PM
Trivia Tuesday is every Tuesday at the Dorchester Brewing Company and starts at 7:30PM in Dorchester
Dirty Water Saloon Line Dancing for Queers & friends has country-western two-step, west coast swing and line dancing each Tuesday from 7-10PM (all are welcome) at the Milky Way Lounge in JP
Showtune Tuesday hosted by VJ Ryan Grow starts at 9PM every Tuesday at dbar in Dorchester
Karaoke Night starts at 10PM every Tuesday at Jacques in Boston

Shakespeare on the Common (Closing Wkd) the Commonwealth Shakespeare Co. conclude their run of free performances on the Common this weekend so make plans with friends to enjoy a night of theater under the stars
Newport Jazz Festival 2019 the festival begins on Friday and runs through the weekend with an amazing line up but tickets are required so don’t delay
Tea Dance at the Boatslip starts at 4PM each Friday in Provincetown – start your weekend off with some great music, views of Ptown harbor and a cold drink
Queer Inclusive Climbing Klub (QuICK) Pizza night and climbing club at Brooklyn Boulders in Somerville
SoWa First Fridays galleries and artist studios in SoWa open their doors to the public the first Friday of each month starting at 5PM in Boston
Dueling Drag Divas are back this summer at Mainestreet in Ogunquit performing each Friday and Saturday at 9:30PM (Tix required)
Guerrilla Queer Bar is a monthly take over of a straight bar – the first Friday of each month – organized by The Welcoming Committee this is typically a fun night out – all are welcome
Casual Fridays is a weekly dance party with no cover featuring DJ Begbick at the Alley Bar in DTX
FASCINATION Friday is a monthly gear/ fetish/ kink night at Jacques the 1st and 4th Friday of the month in Boston
RAW is a monthly leather inspired party hosted the 1st Friday of each month to celebrate The Ramrod, Boston’s original leather nightlife
Anthem Fridays is the weekly dance party hosted by DJ Stevie Psyclone (no cover before 11PM) at Club Cafe every Friday
Kiki Beach is back each Saturday at M Street Beach for a new season of fun in the sun and great people watching – most start arriving after 12PM
5th Annual Big GAY Beach Party returns this Saturday from 10AM – 4PM at Horseneck Beach and State Reservation in Westport, MA
FLAG Flag Football’s Annual Beach Bowl join FLAG Flag Football at their annual Beach Bowl on Saturday from 12-3PM in Ogunquit
Drag for a Cause is a dinner and drag show on Saturday evening to help raise money for the Chef Borges Scholarship with proceeds going to a culinary arts student of Somerville High School Culinary Arts – in Somerville
EXTRA 18th ed. is hosted by Dusty Moorehead the 1st Saturday of each month at Machine in Boston
Blend Saturdays bring your friends for a fun night out with great music and no cover at Blend in Dorchester
