Last week PBS News Hour talked to Charles Murray, a libertarian political scientist at the American Enterprise Institute who says that wealthy, highly educated and snobby Americans increasingly live in so-called super-ZIPs: cloistered together, with little to no exposure to American culture at large.

The description based on my score was spot on.

In the month of December I published nearly 100 posts, and these are the five most viewed from the month. Considering how many visits each of these account for it is highly unlikely the rankings will change with only one day remaining.
1 – No surprise learning that my Boston Santa Speedo Run 2015 was my most viewed / visited post in the month of December. Â Published in the middle of the month, several national blogs and a handful of larger Instagram accounts featured photos from my post.
2 – I Should Really Start Watching Soccer Games was published on a whim after the photo was emailed to me the previous month. From the web stats it looks like many of you viewed and shared the provocative photograph.
3 – I published Gay Men and Their Underwear because I liked The Underwear Expert’s infographic, showing things like style preference, frequency of purchases and favorite colors. It looks like you liked it too.
4- Big surprise here that my post on The Bear-Naked Chef by Adrian De Berardinis was popular. Published on the 19th it was still able to rack up enough views to be one of my most visited posts. Check out episode 1, here.
5 – Readers also like my posts about what is happening in Boston. Â Ryan Landry and the Gold Dust Orphans holiday musical Opening Weekend for Little Orphan Tranny rounded out my top five blog posts of the month.

I know my readers so I’ve opted for some very unsubtle subliminal imagery with this post. Â I’m not exactly bragging as much as I’m just thankful to feel the warmth of the summer sun and enjoying the longer days here in Brazil.
Early next week Sergio and I will pack up. Say good bye to his Mom and head to Sao Paulo for a few days of retail therapy before flying back home to Boston. I would be fine if we came back to the weather Boston has today.

The weather in Boston has been wicked gawjus. There is no other way to describe it. If you are in New England I hope you are able to enjoy the day. Sergio and I have headed to Provincetown for the day with our house guest. Â I hope you are having a great day wherever you are.
Since the spring Sergio and I have been (ever so slowly) remodeling out kitchen and dining area. Â The project has proven to be such a huge headache I can no longer watch HGTV without shouting bullsh*t when I see their talkshow hosts gush about how much they love remodeling projects.
Fortunately we are now in the home stretch, but we need a contractor to install reinforced supports for a bar we are having built. If you have a suggestion, leave a comment or email me directly at bosguymail@gmail.com.  I’ll be more than happy to buy you a thank you drink if we use your reference.

Marina Bay in Quincy is located seven miles from downtown Boston. Originally owned by the US Navy, it closed long ago like most of the military outposts in New England, and it remained neglected until the early 1990s when Marina Bay was proposed.  Sergio and I had never been to Marina Bay until we were invited by Dorchester native and Grammy Award winning DJ, Clinton Sparks, who recently became part owner and investor in several of the entertainment facilities; most notably the newest club in Marina Bay, a hookah bar called blue.
If you come down to check out blue or one of the other restaurants, come at dusk. The marina offers some fantastic views of Boston’s Back Bay skyline.
