I wouldn’t mind being some place like this today. Probably doesn’t hurt that these guys are super handsome and hamming it up for their beach selfie.

The gay community has known that Apple CEO, Tim Cook, is gay for a very long time. Despite that fact news of Tim Cook coming out today is a HUGE deal.
“Being gay has given me a deeper understanding of what it means to be in the minority and provided a window into the challenges that people in other minority groups deal with every day. It’s made me more empathetic, which has led to a richer life. It’s been tough and uncomfortable at times, but it has given me the confidence to be myself, to follow my own path, and to rise above adversity and bigotry. It’s also given me the skin of a rhinoceros, which comes in handy when you’re the CEO of Apple.”

Earlier this month Boston’s newest night club CandiBar opened in the Theater District at 279 Tremont Street. Club kids will recognize this as a remodel and re-branding of Underbar.
In addition to the new name and look, CandiBar, includes an amazing lighting system and whimsical decor that is filled with ruby red love seats in the shape of lips and heart shaped ottomans to relax. Open Thursday – Sunday, most guys will head there for Hot Mess Sundays.
Tonight is the monthly LGBT underground dance party Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) at Great Scott in Allston.
DADT organizers dare you to embrace your inner freak as they pay homage to ourselves, our community and the AHS Freak Show. Resident DJ/MC Colby Drasher will be conducting the evil debauchery with his twisted and sexy soundtrack. And Nick Day delivers terrifyingly bizarre projections around the dance floor.
The party starts at 10PM and has a $10 cover.

Earlier this week U.S. Representative Louie Gohmert, a Republican from Texas, made headlines after his appearance on a conservative talk radio show called, “Point of View” where he apparently went on a rant about gays in the military.
His reasoning why gays should be banned — they’ll want massages, which leaves America open to terrorism.
Really? Gay men would be too preoccupied with getting massages from each other? My response: “You are too stupid to try and reason with so would you please just STFU Rep. Gohmert.“
My buddies Cole and Hunter (a.k.a. The Maverick Men) are joining forces with Manhunt to throw a special Halloween party to help raise funds for The Theater Offensive at the Manhunt Mansion in Brookline one week from today.

When you arrive be sure to check out the silent auction which will include many items including:
Get your tickets before it sells out. You won’t want to miss the party.
