My buddy Jesse posted this snapshot of Brigham and Women’s Hospital urology department earlier today and I thought it was hilarious. Someone at the hospital’s development center must be really good at their job to convince a family with the last name of Weiner to sponsor their urology department.

Back in March I wrote a post, poking fun at an advertisement I’d seen for the Squatty Potty. Guess what was recently delivered to me by a chuckling smiling UPS delivery man.
I have a very hectic day ahead of me. I arrived in Washington, D.C. yesterday to prepare for an all day program so I may be a bit distracted and slow to respond to people. However, I wanted to start the day with a bit of humor and to wish you a happy Wednesday.

The most often heard critique regarding politics in America is that Democrats and Republicans cannot find common ground on anything anymore. Here is a humorous if not frightening idea that I first saw posted on Joe.My.God.
I suppose this is one idea that would appeal to many Tea Party / Conservative Republicans and Democrats alike. Leaving only moderate Republicans and self-identified Independents shuddering at the thought. It would be interesting to see just how many red states this just might turn purple and how many purple states might turn blue if such a ticket ever manifest.

I owe my friend, Benni, thanks for pointing out this absolutely hilarious article on Huffington Post by stand up comedian Kelly MacLean. Unfortunately, this may not resonate if you’ve never shopped at Whole Foods which is a US grocer. For those who are regular shoppers, I’m sure this will have you practically in tears.
Here is an excerpt: Next I see the gluten-free section filled with crackers and bread made from various wheat-substitutes such as cardboard and sawdust. I skip this aisle because I’m not rich enough to have dietary restrictions. Ever notice that you don’t meet poor people with special diet needs? A gluten intolerant house cleaner? A cab driver with Candida? Candida is what I call a rich, white person problem. You know you’ve really made it in this world when you get Candida. My personal theory is that Candida is something you get from too much hot yoga.
