Furry Friday

It is Bear Week in Provincetown and the other day was Jesse Jackman’s birthday. This Boston muscle bear makes for the perfect Furry Friday. Don’t you agree? Happy birthday Jesse.

riddle, exercise for your brain

Each Friday, I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain. If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague and see if you can figure out the answer together.

Leave your answer in the comment section. I’ll approve responses later in the day to give people a chance to respond without seeing any spoilers.

This week’s brain teaser: This week’s brain teaser: I have cities, but no houses. I have mountains, but no trees. I have water, but no fish. What am I?

Vintage gay

This photo of Edvard Munch painting naked on the beach at Warnemunde, Germany dates back to the early 1900′s. While the Norwegien’s sexual orientation is ambiguous, he did certainly seem to enjoy painting the male nude.

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Email me at bosguymail@gmail.com.

Caption this photo

Turkish oil wrestling offers photos that make traditional wrestling photos seem tame by comparison. What the heck is this guy doing? Much thanks to this tumblr account for sharing this photo.

Hopefully the caption I’ve shared below inspires you to offer up one or two of your own. Leave a funny caption in the comment section, and I’ll approve it for readers to enjoy.

Scruffy Sunday

In honor of 2022 Bear Week in Provincetown, which started yesterday, I wanted to feature this handsome guy.

Enjoy your morning coffee, and have a great day.

Saturday morning comics

Hey everyone there isn’t any new material to share with you for this week’s Saturday morning comics so here is a throwback post from 2019 that I loved.

While I enjoy this series, new material has been difficult to get. Are there any gay-themed comic series that you enjoy and would recommend if Adam & Andy was no longer available to share each Saturday?

ADAM & ANDY is set in the fictional New England town of Woodfield, CT. You can learn more about Adam and Andy and purchase a copy of “the definitive collection of Adam and Andy” by visiting, adamandandy.com.

This week’s riddle comes from NPR’s Sunday Puzzle and was initially submitted by Alan Hochbaum, of Duluth, GA.

This week’s brain teaser:  Which word is least like the others? Third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth – explain your answer.
