Men in kilts

Found out that this photo was actually doctored and the original picture is quite innocent. Richard Findlay is the photographer and was nice enough to share the link in the comments section below.

This week’s photo comes from the NSFW Twitter account @Str8WithChaser. The original photo is too risqué for my pg-13 blog, but the unedited version is on the Twitter account or you can HMU.

Monday morning mancandy

Much thanks to avid reader and commenter, Angel from Spain, for sharing this week’s mancandy photo. It’s been too long since I’ve last featured a ginger for this weekly post.

Scruffy Sunday

Time to wake up Sam. If you would like to see more of Sam check him out on Twitter at @just_samvass.

Saturday morning coffee

It appears that Lenny Kravitz and I both use a moka pot to make coffee. Should you see this Lenny, feel free to come over for a coffee – anytime.

Enjoy this throwback to last December. It seems like there is always more laundry and our home gets dirty so quickly in the winter.

BosGuy brain teaser

riddle, exercise for your brainThis week’s poem / riddle was recently posted on The Closet Professor’s blog. I keep a link to this blog in my blogroll in the right margin and read it regularly. In addition to reading about this gay Alabaman’s life in Vermont, Joe has a passion for poetry that he often shares like this poem / riddle by Irish satarist and writer Jonathan Swift who is best known for writing Gulliver’s Travels (1726).

See if you can guess correctly and leave your answer in the comment section. I’ll approve responses later in the day to give people a chance to respond without seeing any spoilers.

This week’s brain teaser: What am I?

A Riddle

From Heaven I fall, though from earth I begin.
No lady alive can show such a skin.
I’m bright as an angel, and light as a feather,
But heavy and dark, when you squeeze me together.
Though candor and truth in my aspect I bear,
Yet many poor creatures I help to insnare.
Though so much of Heaven appears in my make,
The foulest impressions I easily take.
My parent and I produce one another,
The mother the daughter, the daughter the mother.

Vintage gay

Based on the television console and what I believe are speakers behind the blond with beautiful locks, I’d guess this was taken in the 1970s. Can anyone help identify when this may have been taken?

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Email me at bosguymail@gmail.com.

Caption this photo

This week’s photo would’ve also been great for Men In Kilts, but I featured these two last month in the weekly kilt post so I thought I’d ask readers to share a fitting caption. Don’t disappoint me or Sebastien & Stefan (a.k.a. The Nomadic Boys). Share a funny caption as a comment.

I thought I’d share this throwback to when Andy was inspired to get into shape. If you live in a cold climate, it can be a challenge to be active in the winter, so I hope this 2015 strip inspires you.
