ImageBoston’s Wicked Queer Film Festival
Better known as The Boston LGBT Film Festival, this year the organization updated their name in time for the 32nd annual film festival which opens later this week and runs through Sunday, April 10th.
Do you like independent films? Do you like queer cinema? Come out and show your support and purchase tickets to a few films before they sell out. A couple of films that caught my eye include: That’s Not Us (Friday, April 1), Paris 05:59 Theo and Hugo (Saturday, April 2), Sex Work: A program of shorts (Friday, April 8) and Kiss Me, Kill Me (Saturday, April 9).
Check out the full listing of movies and events that will take place around the city and show your support for Boston’s Wicked Queer Film Festival.

Furry Friday
I thought I’d share this Easter-themed Furry Friday. I’ll be honest the picture sort of freaks me out but look at the size of his jelly beans. The photo is one of a number of promo photographs for an annual event sponsored by Nasty Pig, that you can read more about here.

I want to dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Email me at bosguymail@gmail.com.
Lesbians in the attic by local author Stephen Syta
Our friend, Stephen Syta, has published his first book called Lesbians In The Attic. The book is an outrageous autobiography about his mad life, crazy family, and perpetually insane friends. Strung around a holiday gathering, featuring several key players, this laugh-out-loud tale paints character vignettes that are wicked, fond and unforgettable.
Lesbians in the attic is currently available to Amazon Kindle readers, here.
