Vintage gay
Love this photo of guys hanging out in front of the San Francisco gay bar Badlands. Based on their attire, I’m going to assume this was taken in the 1980s, but not 100% sure about that. When do you think this week’s photo was taken? Explain your guess by leaving it as a comment on the blog so others can read it.

Caption this photo
Much thanks to the Fearsome Beard blog which first posted this photo earlier this month. I thought it would make for an excellent “Caption This Photo” and I’m hoping you won’t disappoint!
Please share a caption of your own for this week’s photograph. Hopefully, the caption I’ve shared below will inspire you to leave a funny caption in the comment section. If you don’t see it immediately don’t worry, I’ll approve it for readers to enjoy.

All She Wrote Books needs your help

Boston’s only queer, inclusive bookstore is being displaced.
In the past two years, All She Wrote Books’s rent at Assembly Row has increased by 130%, and in the last four months, they have been forced to spend an additional ~$8,000 on HVAC issues, flooding repair, and more. Remaining in Assembly Row is untenable for this small business (one of only two local-owned shops on the Row) and it’s time for them to move to a space where they can set up roots.
ALL SHE WROTE BOOKS FOUND A POTENTIAL NEW HOME BUT THEY NEED YOUR HELP
The bookstore needs to raise $60k by October 15th and in their first week, they have raised nearly $20k, but they need your help in getting the word out. Please consider sharing this post or pulling information from their website and sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, etc.
Help make this chapter in the All She Wrote Books story a happily ever after ending by donating (no amount is too little) at givebutter.com/allshewrotebks.
