ImageDon’t miss Boston Ironsides Spookybear party at Harbor Lounge is Saturday, Oct 28th
For any of you planning to spend next weekend in Provincetown, I wanted to encourage you to stop by the Harbor Lounge on Saturday, October 28th from 12-3PM for the rugby football club’s annual “spookybear fundraiser”.
There is no cost to attend this very social event and it always attracts a fun and friendly crowd. Swing by and grab a drink. You’ll be happy you stopped by.
Enjoy Memorial Day weekend with someone special
Happy Easter
Temptation Tuesday
Whether you plan on celebrating Valentine’s Day or not, I figured nobody would mind this playful photo from Patrick Lentz Photography which I first posted last February in a similar nod to the holiday.
Happy Hanukkah
Although I don’t observe the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, I believe today marks the end of the “festival of lights”. I’d like to thank Tim H. for sharing the video with me earlier this week. It seems like a nice way to acknowledge the holiday.

Merry Christmas
Boston-based artist, Izzy Berdan, shares his interpretation of a very gay Christmas with this impromptu photograph taken the morning of Boston’s Santa Speedo Run. If you like Izzy’s perspective be sure to check him out on Instagram, where you can see some of these gentlemen up close and more of his beautiful photography.
The colors of Christmas: Silver and Gold
Still not feeling the holiday cheer – even after yesterday’s The colors of Christmas: Red and Green post? Maybe you prefer something less garish and today’s Silver and Gold photos will lift your spirits.
Hopefully this brings you some holiday cheer. Have a Merry Christmas.
The colors of Christmas: Red and Green
Hang in there
I really love the holiday season and think of this time of year as a bright spot that comes just before a long and cold New England winter. However, not everyone shares my holiday cheer and for many the season is stressful; end of year work obligations, dysfunctional family parties, constant reminders to be cheerful and happy etc… Sometimes it can be hard to feel merry.
I hope this isn’t the case for you, and I want to let everyone know, despite the ongoing political news which I find very depressing, I’m sending out positive thoughts to all and wishes for a wonderful 2017.
Happy Holidays to All

Check out performances by former Drag Race contestants, Thorgy Thor, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls and more. (Sunday, December 18 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.; House of Blues, Boston; $20-155; all ages)
Happy Thanksgiving
Today is the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, but Sergio and I are in Brazil visiting his family. We will actually celebrate the holiday tomorrow when his family can come together since today is not a holiday in Brazil. His Mom’s thoughtful gesture, cooking a Thanksgiving dinner for Sergio and me, strikes me as a lovely example of living the ideals of what the holiday represents.
Happy Thanksgiving
