LGBT Asylum SupportWe all know how lucky we are to live in the US. Being gay is the equivalent to a death sentence in many nations throughout the world, but especially in Africa and the Middle East.  The LGBT Asylum Support Task Force is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide support for those seeking political asylum in the U.S. based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Sancta Paraphilia‬The Orthodox Calendar which first ‘came out’ in 2012  continues to get more provocative with each passing year.  Don’t be mislead by their name. The project is the brainchild of a group composed mostly of Orthodox eastern Europeans who use these provocative images to take an ironic approach to the Orthodox Church and raise awareness of homophobia; especially in the Orthodox region.

Chester, England Pride Dean Paton joined a group protesting at a gay pride parade in Chester, England earlier this month with a sign of his own that was absolutely brilliant.  I saw this article in HuffingtonPost’s Gay Voices and wanted to share it with you. Hooked: A new film about LGBT homeless youth

Last week I posted a video of Max Emerson – actor, writer, director and (my favorite) underwear model – doing an ab work out in the buff (watch it here).

You could say he was showing off his assets to raise money for a film called, Hooked, that focuses on LGBT homeless youth.   I’ve just made a personal donation of $50 to show my support for this project and I know it would mean the world to Max if you would help spread the word and provide a small donation too.

Aspen Gay Ski Week 2016

Aspen Gay Ski Week 2016Too soon? Maybe for some but if you are an avid skier and snowboarder then you may want to mark your calendars that Aspen Gay Ski Week is January 17-24, 2016. Just a heads up that I took a quick peek online and right now United is flying non-stop, Boston – Denver, round trip Jan 17-24 for less than $300; you know that those airfares will not last for long.
