Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardis Gras Madonna tribute

I love Australia and I love this Madonna tribute that involved more than 200 volunteers of all ages. Enjoy this fun video and feel free to dance along if you know the dance steps.

Madonna Like A Prayer

I can’t believe it was 27 years ago today that Madonna’s video for Like A Prayer was released by Sire Records. I can still smell the patchouli infused glued wrapper. In addition to Like A Prayer, I would become obsessed with Express Yourself, Cherish and the unreleased, Act of Contrition.

Sia joins James Corden for “Carpool Karaoke”

I love the singer Sia and the ridiculous wigs she wears so she can maintain her privacy.  She recently appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in his reoccurring skit “Carpool Karaoke” and she absolutely crushed it. Enjoy the sing along (and join in) as you pass time and wait for the weekend to start. #TGIF

Baby One More Time with a twist

I’ve featured Yanis Marshall, a French choreographer and dancer who likes dancing in heels. Maybe this will get you in the right mood before you head out.

Here Comes Your Man by the Pixies

I love my pop star divas as much as the next guy but I was a regular listener to WFNX-FM 101.7 Boston for years and bands like the Pixies will always have a special place in my heart. I can’t think of a better song for a Saturday night for all you who may be heading out tonight for drinks and maybe a little more.

Kylie Minogue sings “Off With His Shirt” on ABC’s Galavant

Joshua Sasse, Kylie MinogueFans of Kylie Minogue will want to set their DVRs tonight to see the season 2 premiere of the campy  musical, Galavant, at 8PM ET. Galavant, played by Josh Sasse, is punished by the Queen (a.k.a. Kylie Minogue). You’ll love the catchy ditty she sings in the video I’ve included below, “Off With His Shirt!”.

The video has so many gay references it will make your head spin, including a shirtless Galavant tending bar to a clamoring mass of men and Kylie singing playful lyrics you’d expect to hear in a Ryan Landry or Varla Jean Merman song.

Don’t be shy boys
Go to town
I’ll bet that chest
Is heaven blessed

All I Want for Christmas by Steve Grand

Not only is Steve easy on the eyes, but he also has a killer voice. Enjoy the newly released video and if you like it share it on your social media channels. Steve does this independently so he relies on the support of his fans to help him out.

If you like the song you can download it here: stevegrand.bandcamp.com.

Merry Christmas

Boys of Boston Love Myself official video

Boston’s gay flag football is back with another fun and carefree that appears to be mostly taken in and around where I live in the South End.  The video includes views from around Boston,  dancing, and plenty of shirtless guys having fun.

Missy Elliott – WTF (Where They From)

This week rapper Missy Elliott released her new song WTF (Where They From). Missy teamed up with this Pharrell to produce the catchy song that I predict will be playing in a lot of gay clubs this weekend so I thought I’d share the official video which I can only describe as over the top.

Jordan Smith on The Voice

Sergio and I have been watching The Voice this season, and ever since the blind auditions I’ve been a bit obsessed with one contestant in particular, Jordan Smith. The unlikely singer from coal country in Kentucky has an amazing voice, but it is his comments after singing that touch my heart the most; unfortunately neither clip capture what I’m talking about but check out his rendition of Chandelier in the video above and his performance from last night when he sang Halo by Beyoncé.

Anyone else watching The Voice? I’m curious if you also think this guy is special.

WELL-STRUNG: The Devil Went Down to Georgia

I saw this live in Provincetown this summer when we went to see WELL-STRUNG and I happened to see the video appear as a suggestion on what to watch.  Enjoy their version which happens to also feature J.S. Bach.
