BosGuy brain teaser

riddle, exercise for your brainEach Friday morning I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain. If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague and see if you can figure out the answer together.

Leave your answer in the comment section. I’ll approve responses later in the day to give people a chance to respond without seeing any spoilers.

This week’s brain teaser: A man was driving a black truck. His lights were not on. The moon was not out. A lady was crossing the street. How did the man see her?

Vintage gay

I love this week’s photo for two reasons. First, I can’t help but think these guys look so happy and relaxed together but also because I love when there are photographs with a car. Automobiles can help date when a picture was taken. Anyone out there recognize this car and able to guess when the picture may have been taken?

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Email me at bosguymail@gmail.com.

Boston gay sports clubs / teams

At the start of each academic year, tens of thousands of people move to Boston for the first time.  Whether you are new to Boston or just looking for an excuse to be more active and make friends, joining one of the many LGBT sports teams and clubs can help you do both.

Some of the larger leagues have two divisions; one competitive and the other more social. While not all clubs / teams are open to everyone and all skill levels nearly all are open to anyone and often will help you learn the fundamentals. Keep in mind that some of these teams / leagues are seasonal.

If you don’t see relevant or up-to-date information on the league’s / team’s Facebook page, feel free to contact me directly and I can provide you the name and email of the contact for that group for you to learn more. Alternatively, another great resource is the Facebook group, B.A.G.S. (Boston Alliance of Gay Sports) – check’em out.

Apologies if I have overlooked any area gay clubs or sports leagues.  Feel free to add information for any such group in the comments section of my blog
