Ryan Landry and Gold Dust Orphans holiday show announced: Christmas on Uranus

fringe theater, boston theater, bosarts, Gold Dust OrphansIt appears that the Gold Dust Orphans shall make one last run at Boston’s notorious Ramrod Performing Arts Theatre later this year.

While details about the holiday musical are slim, a website has been set up for ticket sales to see, Christmas on Uranus. The holiday musical will open on Friday, November 29th and will run through Sunday, December 22nd. Stay tuned for more details later this fall.

DJ Dan SlaterEven though Boston Pride ended more than a week ago, I am still enjoying the vibe and all the fun we had. This week I decided to feature DJ Dan Slater who was the special guest DJ for the Back Bay Block Party. The weather and music cooperated and made it a fantastic day.

This Australian DJ who now lives in the US did a great job in part because it was so much fun watching him enjoy the music dancing either solo or on occasion with some block party revelers who would catch his eye. You can get a feel for the music he produces and plays on his SoundCloud page: danielsl8r.

As you can imagine, Daniel’s IG account is filled with promos for upcoming parties and his travels like this photo below from his account.

Underground GetDown is June 29th

Get Down at the Underground FREE public party at Ink Block on June 29 is being hosted at the Underground at the Ink Block park that is under the I-93 expressway. The event is being hosted to celebrate new murals in the park that are done by street artists, Dana Woulfe (Boston), GoFive (Boston), Greg Lamarche (NY), Indie184 (NY), Marka27 (NY/Boston), Matthew Zaremba (Boston), Muro (Spain), and Silvia Lopez Chavez (Boston).

This is a FREE event but there is a 21+ VIP area that you can reserve tickets for now. Early bird access to these tickets provides a slight discount if purchased on or before Sunday, June 23rd.
