Last week a new play from SpeakEasy Stage opened called, School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play, and later this week the Lyric Stage opens with a Sondheim musical, Pacific Overtures, which opens on Thursday and runs thru June 16th. Also opening on Thursday is the Boston Ballet’s production of Cinderella. But in my opinion the toughest ticket to get in town this week will be opening night of the Spring Pops season with special guest Bernadette Peters.
