Carnival Week in Provincetown runs from Saturday, August 13th – Friday, August 19th and attracts nearly 100,000 revelers from all walks of life.

Saturday, August 13th
Miami Vice Party at The Crown & Anchor Paramount Dance Club starts at 10:00 PM
Opening Tea Dance Party for 2016 Carnival Week at the Boatslip from 4:00PM – 7:00PM
Club Purgatory Underwear Party doors open at 9:00PM and the music starts at 10:30PM
Sunday, August 14th
The Love Boat Cruise shown above will include special guest and 2016 Carnival Grand Marshal, Davey Wavey. The cruise runs from 5:30PM – 8:30PM
Lucky Star Party at The Crown & Anchor Paramount Dance Club starts at 10:00 PM
Monday, August 15th
Boys Just Want to Have Fun Pool Party is at the Brass Key Guest House from 2:00PM – 5:00PM.
Back to the Future Costume Ball at The Crown & Anchor Paramount Dance Club starts at 10:00 PM
Tuesday, August 16th
Kristin Chenoweth comes to Provincetown to perform two shows Tuesday night at Town Hall.
Love Shack Party at the Watership Inn runs from 3:00PM – 5:00PM
The Reflex Dance Party at The Crown & Anchor Paramount Dance Club starts at 10:00 PM
It’s Raining Men Dance Party at the A-House starts at 10:00PM
Wednesday, August 17th
So 80s Dance Party featuring Martha Walsh and Lisa Lisa starts at 7:00PM at the Town Hall

Thursday, August 18th
Provincetown Carnival Parade always starts late but get down to Commercial Street to see everyone strutting their stuff up and down the street.
Carnival Block Party starts at 12:00PM at the Crown and Anchor
After Parade Tea Dance at the Boatslip will be ridiculously crowded but if you can’t get enough follow the masses for today’s dance from 4PM-7PM
Make it Big Party at The Crown & Anchor Paramount Dance Club starts at 10:00 PM
Back to the Bulge Party at the A-House starts at 10:00PM
Where’s the Beef Leather Dance Party starts at 10:30PM at Club Purgatory
Friday, August 19th
Electric Slide Dance Party at the Paramount starts at 9:00PM
Totally Awesome Buns Party at the A-House starts at 10:00PM
Earlier this week the Boston Redevelopment Authority approved the Washington Village project, which will reshape a five-acre swath of South Boston turning the mostly unused space into more than 650 new residential units, a plaza and 99,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. The new development will be near Andrew Square between Old Colony and Dorchester avenues.
