How Irish seniors will vote on Marriage Equality on May 22nd

Friday, May 22nd Ireland will vote on whether or not they will allow same sex couples to marry under their Constitution. I wrote about this last month and shared a video called Marriage Equality:  Bring your family with you.

Earlier this week Independent.ie shared the video above – talking to Irish seniors on how they will vote on Friday, May 22. If you know anyone in Ireland, I’d like to ask that you speak to them to ask how they will vote and encourage them to consider voting Yes for marriage equality in Ireland.

Fenway Health HIV study Stronger Together is looking for gay couples

HIV, Fenway Health Study, Stronger TogetherI’m re-posting this to help raise awareness and to hopefully encourage a few of you to participate in a national study Fenway Health is participating that follows 400 gay couples in Atlanta, Boston and Chicago.

The project, Stronger Together, is focused on encouraging male-male couples to get tested for HIV together and to engage in HIV treatment as a couple.  HIV is a difficult issue to talk about with anyone, especially a partner, and that is the real issue around all of this ongoing problem: lack of communication.  If you would like to help be part of the solution, Fenway Health would like to hear from you.

If you would like to learn more about this study, visit the Fenway Health website Stronger Together.

Please share and help spread the word in Atlanta, Boston and Chicago.

Randolph Country Club becomes The Country Club by Mojitos

Randolph Country ClubI have no idea what is going on south of Boston, but I’ve been told that the ownership of Randolph Country Club changed this past March and has been re-branded as The Country Club by Mojitos; possibly the worst name I’ve heard for a club / bar.

Looks like Randolph C.C. has been replaced by a straight club

I’ve never been a huge fan of Ra Cha Cha – my pet name for Randolph Country Club – but the space proved popular so I wanted to ask if anyone knows anything about the new ownership.  The Country Club by Mojitos facebook page makes me wonder if they will be catering to the gay community.  Check out their recent promos.  This looks decidedly not gay to me but you be the judge. The Country Club by Mojitos
