Set your DVRs and enjoy the show. I guarantee this will be far more interesting than anything you will see on those 24-hour news networks tonight.

If you are 30 or younger, chances are you and all of your friends have downloaded the popular game, “Pokemon Go”. According to papers that are covering the craze, it now has more downloads than the popular dating site Tinder, has surpassed Twitter in daily active users on Android devices and ranks above Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram in the Google Play store.
As a 40-something, I have no fond memories of Pokemon nor am I much of a gamer so I’ve not felt the pull of the craze gripping the nation. That is until I heard about this brilliant spoof video of Pokemon Go called Chardonnay Go, created by (and apparently for) white suburban housewives. Too funny.
Believe it or not Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was released 30 years ago and to commemorate the hilarious 80’s comedy it will play on the Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision center field video board at Fenway Park on Wed., June 29th.
To ensure the best viewing, seating will be in the lower seating bowl and along the first baseline. The movie will take place rain or shine. General admission tickets are $10 and $5 for children. Fenway’s gates open at 7:00 and the movie will start at 8:15.

More than 4,000 people come to this free annual outdoor party in Government Center. Skates are for rent, food is available for sale and of course there is some excellent music courtesy of DJ Kon. Check out these photos from last summer’s Memorial Roller Disco to Boston native, Donna Summer. #HotStuff
I admit that I’m a Zachary Quinto fan and I’m a Missy Elliot fan so there was no way I wasn’t going to post this video of Quinto putting it on the line in his lip sync battle where he performs “Get Ur Freak On”. I hope it brings a smile to your face as well.
Have a great Saturday night
From HuffingtonPost Prince, the legendary musician who brought us countless hits, such as “Purple Rain” and “When Doves Cry,” has died, TMZ reports. He was 57. The award-winning artist died on Thursday at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota. The cause of death has yet to be released.
News of Prince’s death has hit me the way many said they felt when David Bowie’s passing was reported. Not only was his music incredibly influential but his string of hits and protégés who he nurtured and encouraged was impressive to say the least. Although Prince’s influence had waned over the past 20 years, his legacy is impressive and it bothers me to write about his passing.
Writer-director John Hughes defined the 1980s American high school experience with teen comedies such as “The Breakfast Club,” “Pretty in Pink” and “Sixteen Candles.” CNN currently has a short online quiz that tells you which Hughes character you most resemble.
While a part of me seriously relates to Samantha Baker (Molly Ringwald) in Sixteen Candles, I did love Duckie from Pretty in Pink. Who would you be in the John Hughes movie universe? Take the quiz and let me know in the comments section which Hughes character you most resembled.
Ruth Pointer of The Pointer Sisters was originally scheduled to visit Club Cafe last month but had to reschedule and will be in Boston tomorrow afternoon at Club Cafe on Sunday, 17th at 5PM for a Q&A and to sign of her new memoir “Still So Excited!: My Life As A Pointer Sister“.
I’ve been watching The Voice this season and have to admit I’ve developed a little bit of a crush on the handsome and charming contestant Bryan Bautista. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one – just last week guest coach Miley Cyrus was practically gushing when she talked to him. I’ve come to refer to Bryan as my TV crush. Check out his audition and wait til the very end – he is more than just a handsome face – he is a bit of a practical joker and very funny too.
I love Australia and I love this Madonna tribute that involved more than 200 volunteers of all ages. Enjoy this fun video and feel free to dance along if you know the dance steps.
Have a sense of humor and enjoy this video with Jennifer Garner. Obviously be careful where you play this since the video is laced with profanities. I’m sure parents can relate to this far better than me, but even I think it is hilarious.
