I know that the weather this past fall and up through January has been unseasonably warm, but the past few days have reminded all of us in Boston that winter is here. To chase away my winter blues I’m looking at photos of people relaxing on the beach or poolside. I’d love to join this guy and jump into a pool.
Not the typical Scruffy Sunday post I’ll admit but I wanted a Valentine’s theme and this was the best I could find.

Mates Leather Weekend – Snowbound (the Winter edition) will take place in Provincetown next weekend, February 19-21. The weekend will start with a Beer Blast on Friday from 6-8 PM at The Watership Inn and concludes with a brunch on Sunday at the Crown & Anchor. All told there are eight official parties / events through the weekend.

This year’s Black Party theme takes place in Brooklyn, New York starting at 10PM Saturday, March 19 and runs through Sunday afternoon, March 20, 2016. More than 4,000 are expected to come to attend this year’s Black Party to enjoy the music from the five headlining DJ’s who will be playing for 18+ hours.

The third annual LGBTQ Conference at Harvard takes place next month on Saturday, March 5, 2016. The conference will revolve around the theme “Beyond Marriage Equality: Rainbows at the Crossroads”. Read more about the one day conference on their website at www.lgbtqconf.org.
Registration is required and is $20 for students, $25 “early bird special” that is good until Friday, February 26th. You can also register the day of the conference at Harvard for $30.
Most of you read my blog while you’re at work so I make an effort to keep my blog pg rated (well pg-13 rated) so employers won’t block my site; this isn’t an easy task since anything “gay” seems to be equated to sex, which often is categorized as porn and blocked. While my post is perfectly respectable note that the Gaily Grind article, that I link to is not safe for work unless you happen to work in a proctologist’s office.
