Every Wednesday morning I post a photo and ask readers to share a witty caption in my blog’s comment section. This week is no exception. I’ll help get you started by sharing a caption of my own.
“Mmm… carbs”
Much thank
s to BosGuy reader Dean who shared an interpretation of the Bible’s Old Testament that finally makes sense and even seems somewhat prophetic.

Caption this week’s rather interesting graphic. I’ll get you started with a possible caption and hopefully you’ll feel inspired to share a few of your own in the blog’s comment section below. The more witty the better.
“First Date”
Since everyone in the US is now obsessing over the long holiday weekend, I thought I’d include an appropriately themed photo to caption.

American Excellence or should I say Amurikan Excellence
Just in case you happened to miss this news, Margaret Cho is coming back to Boston on Saturday, October 10th, as part of her Psycho Tour. A limited number of tickets remain to see her only show in Boston at the Wilbur Theater. I’m going to see if Sergio and I will be in town to catch this show. It has been several years since I last saw Margaret Cho live and she always entertains.
Never seen her before? Check out some of her previous comedy shows on YouTube. Her skit about her mother’s take on “the gays” is one of my favorites. Mom on Gays (a.k.a. Gay Story about Daddy).
I’m a firm believer that humor is a great way to address touchy subjects. While I doubt this video will change any minds, it is hard to argue with this Australian’s take on America’s love of guns. Much thanks to my sister Susan for sharing; just note that there are a lot of F-bombs in his monologue.
Caption this photo which happens to capture exactly how I feel most mornings. I’ll get you started with a possible caption and hopefully you’ll feel inspired to share a few of your own in the comments section below.
