Ab Soto is a queer artist who first came to my attention earlier this week in an article I read on HuffPost Gay and since watching this video I can’t get it out of my head. He clearly has a flair for eye-catching fashion and has more wardrobe changes than a Taylor Swift video. Check this out and get your cha cha on.
Back in 2009 I first saw /met Daniel Garofali when he was still dancing as a go go boy in the Sydney gay bars along Oxford Street. Above is a photo taken from the Sydney Opera House drag show we attended that year. Not long after our visit to Australia Garofali’s good looks took him to America and Europe.
Daniel Garofali has parlayed his looks into a successful career as a male model. Enjoy this throwback video from his 2012 calendar photoshoot.
If you’d like to see Garofali before he made it big, watch these video clips of the show we took from our phones I Got The Music In Me and Hot Stuff (he appears around the 50 second mark).
Do you have to deal with terrible traffic on your commute to and from work? Check out how Tinashe dealt with gridlock in the Queens Midtown Tunnel a few years ago. I love it and her.
I rarely venture to the movies but this might bring me to the movie theater. I loved the National Lampoon Vacation movies from the 1980s. I’m sure many of you may have seen this teaser for the new Vacation movie that opens on July 29th.
Rusty Griswold (now a grown man) takes his family on a road trip to “Walley World” in order to spice things up with his wife and reconnect with his sons, all while reminiscing about his childhood memories from when his Dad took him to visit Wally World. Check out Chris Hemsworth towards the end of the video. It won’t be his rock hard abs that will have you laughing out loud.
Toderick Hall is back with a new video that includes a slew of cameos from LGBT pseudo-celebs ranging from Lance Bass to Ross Matthews to RuPaul (plus many more). Enjoy Toderick’s take on Beauty and the Beast’s Little Town.
Once again my Saturday night video features Postmodern Jukebox. I love their cover of Radiohead’s song, Creep, which they released early last month. The sultry voice is courtesy of Haley Reinhart – enjoy and have a pleasant Saturday.
About two years ago Sherry Vine and Varla Jean Merman sat down to chat for a few minutes on Here TV. I love these two ladies. Varla Jean performs each summer in Ptown and is back this summer with her new show, Big Black Hole! Be sure to check out her show at the Ptown Art House.
I don’t think there are many people who read my blog who live in Ireland but I don’t think of LGBT rights in terms of cities, states, or nations. I think of them as human rights so I wanted to take a moment to voice my support and ask anyone who might have connections to Ireland to reach out and encourage people to vote yes next month.
The latest episode of Max’s Underpants was released last week. If you happened to miss the funny clip on grooming techniques for aspiring underpants models check it out. Willam Belli is hilarious as one Max’s grooming assistant.
Hillary Clinton is running for president. Watch the video and share it with your friends. #Hillary2016
I’ve never met Tom Goss, but I’ve been smitten for quite a while. Every time I watch him in an interview or on Youtube I can’t help but smile. He seems like such a great guy. If you’re not familiar with Tom Goss, check out his acoustic cover of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis song, Can’t Hold Us.
You can see Tom in person Bear Week in Ptown this summer when he performs at The Crown & Anchor on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. For more details about his show and to purchase tickets visit the event page at The Crown & Anchor, here.
Last month I included what I can only describe as a funny & touching video of Kevin Boggs who explains how he first met U2 frontman, Bono, in my post, Better Said Than Done by Storyteller John Kevin Boggs.
Below I’ve included another video of Kevin Boggs from last year’s Born This Way Pride Show at Washington D.C.’s Speakeasy. Kevin Boggs recently passed away and although we never met his stories continue to inspire and entertain me. I hope you enjoy this video from Kevin Boggs.
I’ve been following Max Emerson’s Underpants Episodes and thought I’d share his fourth installment which he published earlier today. Max has the entertaining Willam Belli on hand to help him with this episode which addresses how Photoshop might be used in some underwear modeling photo shoots.
A new trailer for the next James Bond film, SPECTRE, has just been released. The latest addition to the James Bond franchise sees Daniel Craig reprising his role as the infamous MI6 spy for a fourth time, following the worldwide success of 2012’s Skyfall, which I loved despite the fact that it killed off Judi Dench.
SPECTRE is scheduled to open in theaters on Friday, November 6, 2015.
