This past winter I first wrote that the Red Bull Cliff Diving contest would return to Boston this summer for the third year in a row in this post.

One month from today on August 25th that competition will return to Boston. I’ll be out of town and miss the fun, but I wanted to encourage anyone in the Boston area to mark this on their calendar to come down and enjoy this free, fun event along Boston’s waterfront. I’ve included below a quick video from the first diving contest in Boston from 2011.

Ms. Coco Peru says “It burns!”

TrickThis movie may be one of my all time favorite “gay films”.  I had the chance last year to talk to Ms. Coco Peru about the scene (shown below) when I met her in Provincetown. I told her I still laugh when I watch this clip, although it is more funny in the context of the movie for certain.

Did you ever see the movie Trick? It came out in 1999 and starred Tori Spelling, Christian Campbell (shown above with Ms. Coco Peru) and John Paul Pitoc.

According to the article, Marshall and friends dance in 9″ heels to a medley of Spice Girls hits.

Much thanks to Queerty for sharing this video.

Back in April I posted a write up about Rhett Price and Josh Knowles who make a living busking in and around Boston. Check out Rhett and Josh’s latest video Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis – filmed on the pedestrian bridge in the Public Garden.

Fuzz Wax BarWith Bear Week in Provincetown officially ending just yesterday, this waxing video may seem sacrilegious, but I couldn’t resist sharing this quick video from the Fuzz Wax Bar team in Toronto.

Check out as this handsome model walks on the streets of Toronto, inviting people to tear off wax strips that doubled as coupons.

Pretty painful creative marketing if you ask me.

Adam Ezra Group at City Hall Plaza tonight

Adam Ezra GroupBoston’s Music Festival – Outside the Box – has been hosting dozens of shows each day since the festival started last week. Later tonight the Adam Ezra Group will take the main stage in City Hall Plaza at 7:30 pm.  If you get there earlier, you can also see award-winning recording artist and native Bostonian Adam Jensen who comes on stage at 6pm.

Here’s a song I’m fairly certain the Adam Ezra Group will perform tonight for everyone.  Note it’s not exactly work safe.

Sand Blast Weekend at Asbury Park

Asbury Park, NJThis weekend a few thousand gay men and women will head to Asbury Park on the New Jersey shore for Sand Blast Weekend. Will you be visiting Asbury Park and participating in any of the parties scheduled for Sand Blast Weekend?  Have you attended this event previously?  You can get a taste of what to expect from this year’s promo video… looks like fun.

Do I look suspicious?

Howard UniversityIn the wake of the not guilty verdict of George Zimmerman regarding Trayvon Martin, students from Howard University have created this very poignant video worth watching. Please share.

Tiny diapers for your penis

Tiny Diapers for your PenisMove over Dollar Shave Club, this video (see below) had me laughing out loud and I think you will too.  Check it out.

Every guy hates dealing with male spotting — that extra drop that sticks around after you pee. Ed Daniels finally solves this problem with tiny diapers that fit snugly onto the tip of any penis.

4th of July in Provincetown

ProvincetownLast week I was joined by tens of thousands of men who spent their 4th of July holiday and weekend in Provincetown. The weather was incredibly hot, making Ptown the perfect place to be.  The beaches, pools and pretty much everywhere was packed but all seemed to have fun – I know I did.  Enjoy the quick video below and much thanks to everyone who posed.

Saturday starts yet another huge theme week, Bear Week, in Provincetown.  If you are going – have a blast.

Special thanks to The Crown and Anchor for providing passes to check out all the parties they hosted through the week.

Lets have a kiki

Lets have a kikiJasun Mark  has teamed up with his buddies Justin King and Dario Beck and found a fun way to deal with being stuck in rush hour traffic, while driving from Los Angeles to Palm Springs.

You may recall that earlier this spring my buddy, Dirk Caber, participated in a similar car video, singing along to Kylie’s song, Timebomb.

With many Americans now obsessing about a short work week, this call for a kiki seems timely – enjoy.

This is Boston

I absolutely love this 4 minute video by Filmmaker Sean Collins who said he created this timelapse video  to pay tribute to Boston.

If you’ve never been to Boston, this clip will show you all the major sites from the comfort of wherever you happen to be, and if you are a Bostonian now living elsewhere, this will certainly bring a smile to your face and fill you with pride.

You can read the article by Steve Annear that features this clip on Boston Magazine here.
