Boston free summer fitness series
Starting earlier this month on June 4th, Boston Parks launched their annual summer fitness series. Due to past success and interest the city is expanding the program this year and will offer 30 classes per week through September 29th.
Free fitness classes take place in the morning and evenings and include a variety of options like yoga, zumba and bootcamp. All classes take place outdoors in Boston’s parks around the city. The full calendar of activities can be found here: bphc.org/summerfitness.

Why we celebrate Pride
Pride is much more than parties and parades. What I think some people fail to recognize is in the face of hostility, legislated discrimination and violence, focusing on love and celebrating that love can be a far more effective tonic than channeling negative emotions. That is why Pride is and always will be at its core a political message: We’re here and we’re not going anywhere. #KillTheCloset

Provincetown International Film Festival June 13-17
The annual Provincetown International Film Festival (PIFF) opens today. Now in its 21st successful year, PIFF is the largest cultural event in lower Cape Cod and a premier cultural event, attracting 10,000 plus film-goers, movie buffs, and arts patrons.
This 5-day festival will showcase 45 features and 29 short films. Twenty-seven of the 70+ films were directed by women, reflecting the festival’s strong commitment to women-directed films (something Hollywood doesn’t champion despite lip service provided at the podiums of award shows).
This year Sean Baker will receive PIFF’s 2018 Filmmaker on the Edge and Molly Shannon and Chloe Grace Moretz will receive PIFF’s Excellence in Acting award. For more information and to get tickets visit their website at provincetownfilm.org.

This week on Instagram: keenixfeeting
Back in early April my friend and photographer, Brenton, took several photos (including the one shown above) of this handsome man. Needless to say I was hooked and started following Phoenix right away. His IG profile more or less says it all, “Look I spend too much time at the gym so this is pretty much just half (to full) naked photos of me.”
Phoenix doesn’t disappoint with lots of photos of him in and around Australia either working out or at the beach, but decide for yourself by taking a peek at his account and seeing what you think. BTW, there are a few more shots of Phoenix at my friend, Brenton’s, account, brentonparryphotography.
