Memorial Day Weekend – a.k.a. Baby Dyke Weekend in Provincetown – Mark Cortale proudly presents the launch of the Broadway at Town Hall series, starring Emmy Winner and cultural icon Rosie O’Donnell.
Accompanying Rosie will be Sirius XM Radio Star Seth Rudetsky who will join Rosie as pianist and host for the evening.

Last weekend the Bottom for Hillary Instagram account posted this funny photo, following Hillary Clinton’s announcement that she intended to run for President.
And it got me to thinking…
While I do love me some Hillary, if I’m going to bottom for a politician, I think I’d prefer to keep that sort of thing local. So even though it will never happen, I’m going to save myself for Elizabeth. I like her populist message and the fire in her belly. Sorry Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Jim Webb, I’m sticking with Elizabeth.

Etiquetteer’s Spring Madness of Pet Peeves
Inspired by Jezebel’s 2014 Cake vs. Pie March Madness, and with the help of style- and manners-conscious Maria Hecht, my good friend and fellow Boston blogger Robert over at etiquetteer.com has prepared a tournament of Pet Peeves to find out what peeves you the most.
In one conference Etiquetteer has identified Weddings and Driving / Transportation Peeves, and in the other he focuses on Table Manners / Dining Out and General Peeved Peeves. This week’s photograph is more risqué than most photographs I post on my blog but when BosGuy reader, Tim, sent me this photograph of himself I couldn’t help but laugh and appreciate his bawdy sense of humor; after all, it is kind of perfect for this reoccurring post.
Since Passover starts this Friday, the timing of this photograph couldn’t be better.

Mrs. Betty Bowers explains Indiana’s “Religious Freedom” legislation
As the brouhaha over Indiana’s “religious freedom” legislation grows and Governor Mike Pence continues to fail to respond to questions on how this isn’t legalizing discrimination, Mrs. Betty Bowers “America’s Best Christian” steps in to stand up for all those persecuted Christians who are forced to abide homosexuals entering their stores and <gasp> treat them the same way they would treat heathens like Jews, Muslims, agnostics and even non-believers.
Better Said Than Done by storyteller John Kevin Boggs
Much thanks to @PoachedBoston on Twitter for suggesting I listen to Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast. At the end of the first episode I listened to they gave a shout out to John Kevin Boggs who recently passed away. Kevin Boggs (as they referred to him) shares a touching story in the video above that left me a bit teary eyed. Having said that, the six minute video will make you laugh out loud. He is that rare individual who can weave humor into any story.
