Chad White by Justin Wu

Chad WhiteChad White’s lip syncing skills are only marginally better than Britney Spears, but the fact that he’s so darn adorable makes that quite alright with me.  Enjoy this one minute clip of Chad flirting with the camera. I think you’ll find him as adorable as I do.

This isn’t the first time I’ve posted something about Mr. White.  If you like what you see check out my posts Denim Dreams as well as the self titled post, Chad White.

Boston has no gay bars

Stefan from SNLBoston’s reputation for having a crappy nightlife if you are gay is painfully true but the real irony is the fact that since Boston Chops (a steak house) opened here in the South End, you are likely to find the bar chalk full of gay men.

Max shows how to cut off t-shirt sleeves

sleeveless maxNow that it is summer I’ve noticed a lot of guys walking around with sleeveless t-shirts they have obviously cut themselves.

Max does a nice job explaining why you shouldn’t do this with a v-neck and gives tips on how to cut your shirts so they will fit you perfectly.

I’m not so certain about his suggestion for what to do with the cut off sleeves, but I’ll refrain from being critical because he’s so darn easy on the eyes.

AIDS Walk Boston

AIDS Action CommitteeAlthough it is not officially part of Boston Pride Week,  AIDS Action Committee’s AIDS Walk & 5K Run Boston is held the first Sunday of June, coinciding with the first weekend of Boston Pride each year.

This event that raises unrestricted dollars for New England’s largest AIDS Service Organization, The AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts (AAC), also helps raise awareness and brings Boston’s gay community together.  I’ve always associated this event with Boston’s Pride Week and would encourage you to make a donation to AAC or come down to the Hatch Shell to participate in the walk this Sunday.  More details about The Walk and Run can be found here.

Flashback Friday

Flashback FridayFor many years Washington Street in Boston’s South End had an elevated Orange Line that was loud and cast long shadows over this busy boulevard that connects Roxbury to downtown Boston.  Over the past 20+ years, Boston’s South End has undergone a renaissance of sorts.  Gone is the elevated Orange Line and boarded up buildings that have been replaced by new apartment buildings, restaurants and cafes.

Back in 2009 I also  wrote about this stretch of the South End in my Flashback series entitled, Elevated Orange Line.
