Are they goofing around or is their affection more than platonic? I have no idea but it’s fun to think what their story may have been. Anyone able to date this based on their uniforms?

I wish this photograph was larger, because I love this ‘tough guy’ look and how the three are identically posed with legs crossed at the ankles, arms crossed, similar shirts open at the chest, and cigarettes hanging out of their mouths while they look straight into the camera. Anyone able to place or date this photo?
