Enjoy the weekend and thanks for stopping by to check out my blog.
Over the past few years Bear Week has grown so large that to list all the shows, performances, events and parties would be impractical on my blog. There are more than 80 different performances and more than 100 official events / parties that will take place in Provincetown during Bear Week which officially starts on Saturday, July 8th. Not even the most excited cub can keep up with so much happening so pace yourself and remember to hold tight to your honey.

Vendors will also have the chance to enter and win “Boston Pizza Festival Pizza Champion” contest.
Note that you need to buy tickets to the festival and prices are cheaper if you purchase your ticket before the event. For more information visit, bostonpizzafestival.com.

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Email me at bosguymail@gmail.com.
Do you think Massachusetts alcohol laws are draconian and need updating? The State’s task force wants to hear from you – but here is the catch if you want to join the task force’s five groups (focus areas) complete this online survey by noon on Friday, July 7, to apply for a position.
The task force will be asked to identify and remedy problem areas across five broad categories by working with people like you (if you’re interested) to discuss proposed recommendations and action items in the following areas:

G0-Go Dancer / Model / Ginger-stud, Seth Fornea, announced earlier this week that he would have a limited release (500 copies only) 2018 calendar. Due to the small number being produced, pre-ordering a copy would be very wise. Note that the calendar entitled, Full Frontal, is most definitely NSFW so think twice before you click on this link to Instinct Magazine’s article about the calendar, Ginger Hunk Seth Fornea Teases ‘Full Frontal’ 2018 calendar.

For a tiny city, Boston hosts a very large 4th of July celebration that is free and open to the public. There have been some broadcasting changes this year so for more information on how to stream or watch the concert on TV or for where to tune in on the radio link here.
If you are curious about what time everything happens, I’ve included the calendar below for you. This information is also available on the Pops event website in the link I’ve included at the end of this post.
This year’s list of entertainers accompanying Maestro Keith Lockhart and The Boston Pops on stage includes (from left to right) Melissa Etheridge, Andy Grammer as well as Tony Award-winners Brian Stokes Mitchell (Kiss Me Kate) and Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton).
