Provincetown’s Bear Week starts Saturday, July 8th
The week starts off with a bang with 4th of July celebrations here in Boston and the Circuit in full swing in Provincetown for Independence Week but starting next weekend Bear Week kicks off ensuring that there will be no shortage of pre-Bear Week parties here in Boston and plenty to keep you busy through Sunday.
Boston’s biggest show, Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is Tuesday, July 4th
MONDAY – WEDNESDAY
Boston Pops concert (no fireworks) on Monday is basically the dry run for the performance on the 4th; gates open at 5PM and concert starts at 8PM in Boston
Men’s Mary Monday Mandarin Meetup is a social group for gay men who will get together on Monday at 6:30PM at Mary Chung Restaurant in Cambridge
Drag Bingo is every Monday starting at 7PM free to play at Club Cafe in Boston

We would all do well to remember America’s secular credo that was inscribed on the Statue of Liberty, because a 21st century strain of xenophobia has reared its ugly head in American politics. While it is easy to blame President Trump, remember that his policies are supported by millions of Americans so on the eve of 4th of July celebrations let’s make a commitment to strike up a conversation with someone who either supports the President’s unAmerican ban on refugees and immigrants or to reengage someone who didn’t vote in the last election.
