BosGuy brain teaser

riddle, exercise for your brain

Each Friday morning I post a riddle to get you to think outside the box and exercise your brain. If you are stumped, share it with a friend or colleague and see if you can figure out the answer together.

I’ll confirm answers in the afternoon so don’t worry if you don’t see your comment posted right away. I want to give everyone a chance to guess.

This week’s brain teaser:
Where is AD before BC, yesterday after tomorrow and eight is first?

Vintage gay

Much thanks to David for sharing this photo from England dating back to the 1940s for this week’s vintage gay post. I love how dapper these two are as they playfully pose for a photo.

I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Do you have a photo you would like to share? Shakespeare on the Common opens with Richard III

bosarts, boston theater, shakespeareIt is opening night for The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) annual production of a William Shakespeare play on the Boston Common. This year the CSC will present Richard III with performances running through Sunday, August 5th. Performances take place Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm; Sundays at 7pm; with a 3pm matinee performance on Saturday, August 5th.

Richard III
July 18 – August 5, 2018
FREE and open to the public

csc, commonwealth shakespeare company, boston theater, bosartsThe image above shows the location of the theater production on the Boston Common. I suggest arriving early to ensure you can be within sight of the stage. When I attend, I like to make a quick stop at the Roche Bros in Downtown Crossing to stock up on snacks and drinks – food is available on the Common but options are somewhat limited.

Need a quick overview of this Machiavellian monarch Shakespeare dedicates an entire play to? Here is a quick recap of Richard III (as told by Shakespeare).

This week on Instagram: joshpopenko

handsome, funny, AustralianI don’t know much about Josh Popenko except that I think he is very funny and handsome. I cannot say where he is from but he lives in Australia now and consistently posts humorous pictures like this one inspired by “Ape shit” video with Beyoncé and Jay Z.

Josh does have a tendency to like to strip down to the bare minimum as shown above but nearly everything he posts is more funny than sexy which I really welcome and enjoy when scrolling through my feed.
