Boston Pride is hosting their annual Pride Night at Fenway Park on Friday, June 3rd when they face off against the Toronto Blue Jays. With the Red Sox bats smoking hot this kick-off event to Pride Week is the perfect way to celebrate. Ticket proceeds will benefit Boston Pride organization.
International travel is getting both easier and more affordable if you live in Boston. Logan will soon have the more low-cost trans-Atlantic flights than any other airport in the United States and industry analysts say they expect the growth of low-cost carriers in Boston to continue.
Analysts cite a confluence of global and regional forces that work in our favor, from low oil and fuel prices and Logan’s proximity to Europe to the strength of the economy of Greater Boston, which has ample supply of business travelers and younger flyers interested in seeing the world on the cheap.
For example, discount airline, Thomas Cook, is offering introductory non-stop fares from Boston to Manchester, England for $312 when they start flying to Logan Airport next week, and earlier this month AirBerlin started non-stop flights Boston to Dusseldorf, Germany for $650. Both fares are cheaper than my flight to San Francisco later this month.
There are plenty of entertainment options for you to consider in Ogunquit. However, the epicenter of performing arts is at the Ogunquit Playhouse, which has a fantastic season of scheduled plays and musicals. If you are planning a trip to Ogunquit, consider getting tickets to a play one night.

Mainestreet also hosts a series of shows that are worth seeing if spending an evening in a theater isn’t quite your thing and you would prefer a good laugh.

June 17th see Varla Jean Merman perform Big Black Hole.
June 25 – 26 see Miss Richfield 1981 Red Lips to the White House.

I always encourage anyone visiting Provincetown to attend at least one show during their visit. The array of talent when you consider the size of the town is more than impressive and attending one of the many shows is a great way to pass a couple of hours with friends or someone special. To celebrate their opening weekend for the 2016 summer they will be showing Fever Pitch on a 40′ drive-in movie scree with a high-definition and concert grade sound system. Popcorn and other movie snacks will be available for purchase.
An article with a similar title was sent to me by a reader and friend of this blog and it made me laugh so I thought I’d share it with you for some light reading.
According to art historian Ellen Oredsson, the reason virtually every ancient statue you’ll ever see has a rather small penis is because of cultural perceptions and biases of the time. Apparently, big penises were associated with specific negative characteristics: foolishness, lust and ugliness. By contrast the ideal man was meant to be rational, intellectual and authoritative and a small penis allowed a man to remain coolly logical.

While everyone is still talking about the latest release by Beyoncé, Lemonade, earlier this week Mr. Timberlake released a fun new music video for his song Can’t Stop The Feeling, a celebration of shaking off your troubles and busting a move; a perfect song to get ready to on a Saturday evening.
Earlier this spring the provocative underwear / male fashion line, Modus Vivendi, released their new bathing suit line.
While I’m not in any kind of shape to think about bathing suits, many will be hitting the beaches and pools regularly when Memorial Day Weekend officially kicks off the 2016 summer season. Modus Vivendi Neon line includes briefs, Brazil cut boxers, boxer briefs and boxer shorts in three vibrant colors including neon aqua, neon fuchsia and neon yellow.
