Sergio always wakes up too early so this rarely happens, but it is a really great way to wake up if you both enjoy lazy Sunday mornings.

Last week Adam Driver was the guest host on Saturday Night Live. The show was pretty good but the Doctor is in my butt 4 skit also known as “Porn Doctor” where Driver played Doctor Rockhard was pretty funny.
Time to dig out
Winter storm, Jonas, is wrecking havoc with people from Washington D.C. north on the East Coast. Despite the fact that snowfall estimates for Boston have been increased over the past 12 hours, it looks like we will miss most of the storm’s fury. Friends in New York, Philadelphia and DC aren’t nearly as fortunate and will need to start digging out from the record level snowfall.

BRA approves: Government Center Garage project
Last November I wrote about a huge mixed use project in Government Center that would add to Boston’s skyline and significantly change the make up of the Government Center / West End neighborhoods in this post.
Last week the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) approved Phase One of this project better known as the “Government Center Garage project”, which would replace the existing parking garage shown below. Phase One consists of two buildings: a residential high rise and a separate commercial tower.

The residential building will be a 486-unit high-rise apartment tower along New Sudbury Street. HYM is expected to break ground later this spring. The commercial tower, also approved, will commence construction upon commitment by a major tenant.

San Juan, Puerto Rico in one week
One week from today Sergio and I will hop on a plane and fly down to sunny, warm Puerto Rico. We will only be there for three nights, returning on Sunday but the trip is one we’ve both been looking forward to since we booked it.
Below I’ve posted a few photos of previous visits to Puerto Rico over the years. If you’ve never visited the Caribbean island, I highly recommend you put it on your list of places to visit. Jet Blue has two non-stop daily flights out of Boston.
