Vintage gay
I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. This week on Instagram: brightbazaar
This week I’m featuring an Instagram account I really enjoy following. Will Taylor is the man behind the IG account, brightbazaar, and with 200,000+ followers, I’m going to bet more than a few of you may already follow him.
What I really like about brighbazaar is the colors that seem to pop in every photo taken. There is obviously a lot of time spent thinking about the look he is trying to capture and the effect isn’t lost on me. Anyone with an eye and appreciation for design is going to really enjoy this account.
Follow him on Instagram here, instagram.com/brightbazaar.

Happy Father’s Day
I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Father’s Day to my Dad (shown above), my brother, Timothy, brother-in-laws, Travis and Brett as well as to all the other fantastic fathers out there who I know.
It doesn’t seem right that Dad’s only get one day out of the year to be recognized for all they do for their children but apparently that is all that Hallmark allows so have a wonderful day, spending it as you wish. And for all of you sons and daughters out there be sure to call Dad.

Boston area farmer’s markets
Over the past few years the opportunity to purchase fresh meats, breads, fruits, produce and other food from local vendors has become easier in Boston. It was two years ago next month that the very nice Boston Public Market opened, but that is hardly the only option in and around the city.
I stumbled upon a Greater Boston Farmers Markets Google calendar that lists so many area farmer’s markets you are bound to find one near you. It does omit one of the larger Farmer’s Markets: The SoWa Farmer’s Market, which is in my neighborhood and is open every Saturday and Sunday from 10AM – 4PM May through October.
